Emma Stone had the sweetest reaction to a reporter calling her by her real first name on Saturday.
In response to a journalist yelling out 'Emily' during a press conference at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival for her upcoming film Kinds of Kindness, the La La Land actress, 35, smiled brightly upon hearing her name.
She, then, turned to the film’s director, Yorgos Lanthimos, and excitedly said: 'That's my name!'
The moment comes just weeks after the two-time Oscar winner revealed she prefers using her real name when possible.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the performer, who changed her name years ago because there was already another Emily Stone registered with SAG, admitted that she felt like she just couldn't be called Emma 'anymore.'
